HACKATHON PROTOTYPEMany people, especially elderly patients, people with limited literacy and Hindi-first users, struggle to use healthcare. They cannot read prescriptions, do not know which doctor to see, and get lost inside large hospitals. HealthBridge AI is a voice-first companion that explains things in simple language, in English or Hindi, and points people towards the right care.

All of this is clearly labelled DEMO. No real hospital data or phone numbers are used.
- Backend with Firebase: hospital data (departments, doctors, floor plans) stored in the cloud
- Patient profiles saved only with consent, so the AI can tell patients which documents and reports to carry for their problem, and update the list when the doctor or department changes
- Hospital listing with live ratings from Google Maps (Places API)
- Automatic prescription reading (OCR) with user confirmation
- Live in-page map with real nearby hospitals
- Verified hospital floor plans and QR start points
- Medicine inventory and X-ray report help
HealthBridge never claims a diagnosis and never prescribes or changes medicines. Serious warning signs lead to emergency guidance first. In this prototype chats are not stored and location stays on the device. In the planned version, patient records will be saved only with the patient’s consent, protected by strict access rules.

- Then: pilot with a partner hospital using verified floor plans
This prototype shows the idea works. With real data and a hospital partner it can grow into a product that actually helps patients.
